We are called, equipped, and sent into the darkness of the world to rescue the lost and lead them to the light. Jesus told His disciples to go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15). God's dealings with man is to reconcile man back to Himself and to restore the fellowship that was lost in the fall of man. This is the ministry God has given to us, the church, the ministry of reconciliation. He called us, He equipped us, and He sent us out to fulfill this purpose. He has commissioned us to share the news of the gospel to a sinful world and endowed us with the Holy Spirit. In the world we live in today so many are lost. People are facing all types of adverse circumstances. They are frustrated, living in despair, depressed and just simply overwhelmed by life. Young people are taking their own lives because the pressure of life is too much to bear. As we submit to the call on our lives, all the hosts of heaven stand ready to aid those of us who will say "Here I am, send me." Jesus Christ has called certain people to do the work of the evangelist (II Tim. 4:5, Eph. 4:11) however, He has commissioned all of us to tell others of His goodness. Our job is to testify of His wondrous work that He has done in each and everyone of our lives. The more we know about Christ, the more we can tell of His amazing plan of salvation and His amazing grace. Since we could not find a way to Him, He made a way for us. He came and died for us. He sacrificed His life so that we can have life and not only have life but live the abundant life. He gave us power, authority and faith to walk with Him and the Holy Spirit to guide us along the way. God will lead those who are sincerely seeking Him. He will bring you to the knowledge of Himself and impart His wisdom in you. It is not impossible for us to reach the world in our day. God is with us, we do not stand alone. Let's be that bridge that connect the lost to Christ. They are crying out today. They want to be rescued, they want to be helped. Just like we were one day lost without hope. Groping in the dark trying to find our way, then came someone who cared enough to pray for us and didn't stop praying until we were delivered. Can we be that someone in somebody's life? Jesus is waiting with His arms wide opened. Don't let this moment pass you by, answer the call.

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.

Matthew 28:19-20

Father in the name of Jesus, help us to reach out to a lost and dying world. We ask that we will have a heart of compassion that as the people cry out for help, we would be there to provide comfort and encouragement and to testify of your goodness. Lord we pray that we would tell them of your wondrous work towards your people and how loving and faithful you are towards us. We thank you for commissioning us. Help us Lord to be that vessel that will bring you honor, in Jesus name we pray. Amen!
