We all handle offenses differently. Some of us are more sensitive than others. Some of us are quick to forgive while others hold on

for dear life. The word in Matthew 18:7 tells us, Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes. In other words the writer is saying that we should not allow offense to cause us to stumble. We will be betrayed, lied on and we would catch bad breaks in life, however these things will come but we have to handle it correctly. It hurts, however we cannot spend time feeding the hurt. When we make the mistake of feeding hurt, we then give life to bitterness, resentment, discouragement, self-pity, etc. At times we want to relive the hurt over and over again rehearsing the images in our mind. You can't feed your history and destiny at the same time, what's happened has happened, now it's time to move on. I understand the pain is there, and it's real. Sometimes you feel like you can't breathe, like every ounce of energy has left you and you have no more to give, however life goes on, you can't stop living. Starve the condemnation and the doubt and feed your faith, your hopes and your dreams. Move forward to the next chapter. Hear what God is saying to you at that moment. Your pain is connected to purpose and that's why the scripture says that offense will come. God uses our bad situations. He turns it around and works it for our good. Now it's up to you to do your part, to step up to the next level, to give it all to Him so you can see your dreams come to pass. After the rain the sun does shine. Your best days are still in front of you. God causes us to triumph, we always win.

Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you ave gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established...Matthew 18:15-16

Father thank you that we do not have to live in offense, that even though the offense come we are surrounded by your favor. Thank you for leading us down a bright path that we can know that our best days are still ahead of us. We don't have to hold on to pain, hurt and regret. We don't have to become bitter and resentful. We declare that you cause us to triumph in every situation. So we give you thanks, honor and praise, in Jesus name we pray, Amen!
